Canton Medical Education Foundation and Aultman Inpatient Medicine (AIM) are pleased to announce a new collaboration designed to bring direct patient care and teaching together.
AIM has welcomed three hospitalists who will serve as faculty for internal medicine residents training through the Canton Medical Education Foundation at Aultman Hospital. Beginning in November, Jennifer Beard, M.D., David Beard, M.D., and Gilbert Rowley, M.D. will join AIM as hospitalists and teaching faculty. The new collaboration allows full-time coverage for the medical teaching service at Aultman Hospital. Internal medicine residents will experience the importance of multidisciplinary teamwork, care coordination and optimized transitions of care as developed by AIM hospitalists in conjunction with health care providers inside and outside the hospital – aiming to deliver high-value care to patients at Aultman Hospital.
We welcome Dr. J. Beard, Dr. D. Beard and Dr. G. Rowley to our team of 17 physicians who are available 24/7 within Aultman Hospital. AIM provides coverage to more than 140 primary care providers in Stark and surrounding counties. We are proud to now offer quality medical teaching services with our new faculty physicians to the internal medicine residents and medical students coming through the Canton Medical Education Foundation.
AIM is a member of the Aultman Medical Group, a collection of employed physician practices – including both primary care and specialty physicians – within Aultman Health Foundation. For questions regarding our new partnership, please contact Katie Wright at 330-363-1339.
